The immortal one.

24/02/2010. We have a billion Gods in this country. But whosoever follows the religion of cricket knows only one God. The man on who's shoulders lies the hopes of a billion people , a player par excellence, a living guide to the game of cricket , a breathing example for every sportsman , a bench mark for all aspiring cricketers. His passion supreme , His will... consistent , His class unmatchable , his talent undeniable , his achievement unparalleled , his humility admirable

His legend immortal.
On 24/02/2010. Sachin Tendulkar 'the little master' broke not one , but two mammoth records.
The highest total / runs achieved in an ODI. The first and only person to reach a double century in an ODI in the history of cricket.

And so his story continues...
All hail ...the immortal one.

Ms. Lois Lane...FYI Lana Lang has left the building

The Ending comes sooner and different than one would expect.
When something that has dominated your happiness quotient comes to an abrupt halt ..it seems overwhelming.
What does it take for it to end? What does it take for you to accept that your whole world has ceased to exist.

Its simple really. The moment you realize that your nothing but an alien to 'your' world it becomes easier to fly away to something familiar.

A farm boy with extraordinary abilities couldn't hold onto the love of his life or someone he thought was the love of his life
As he grew , he found that every step was a hurdle. He had responsibilities. Huge ones. Dreams- huge ones.

He could very easily soar into the sky and tear through the clouds, however his feet at first seemed heavy. He hadn't discovered flight. Gravity seemed stronger. He questioned his place in the world, not sure where he belonged.

He felt different and vulnerable.
Vulnerable in spite of his special qualities.
She knew how he was different... she felt his love.
She knew he would alter the very movement of the Earth, if she asked him to.
Yet somehow she felt like he wouldn't be right for her.
Yet she felt their journey together was temporary.

He felt it. He knew how she felt. He didn't want to believe it.

Lana-'And what happens down the road if things don't work out. Will our friendship survive that? '
Clark- 'I don't know. Lana, I've wanted this for so long. I think it's worth the risk'

A risk they took. They seemed happy for a short while.
But their story was heading towards a finality
that neither could control.

It had to end. And end it did. They were too different.
She couldn't fit him and his being different into her well planned life.
He didn't understand at first, but had to come to terms with it.
He saved her so many times .. always protecting her and watching over her.
She felt suffocated. She choked. She didn't see it for what it was. She couldn't.
He just wanted to her to be happy. She just wanted to be happy.

Clark Kent :'So that's it. It's all over. It's that easy? '
Lana Lang: 'No. But where I am now, for the first time it feels right. Clark, I know neither of us could say it... But maybe Clark Kent and Lana Lang just weren't meant to end up together.'

Such is their story.
A story that was supposed to have a happy ending.. well at least thats what Clark thought.

Clark realized at last that they were from different worlds
and some things are just doomed from the get go.

Lana fell in love with Pete Ross.
Some one who seemed right for her.
Some one who felt right.
With Clark it was never that easy.

Clark sought a different path.
He began to concentrate on his journey for a change
His dreams. His destiny. His story.
So he left the farm, packed his bag and left for a new place
A busy place and yet a place where he felt he would discover himself.
He entered the confines of his future work place ... he walked amongst the hustle and bustle
And then it happened.

He bumped into her.
She said 'hey watch where you're going '
He said sorry... Im new around here..as he held his hand out and said
Hi I'm Clark. Clark Kent.
She looked at him with annoyance.. and said...
Lois. Lois Lane.

Lois:' Look, sometimes you gotta tuck your feelings away until it's the right time - like stuffing dollars into a piggy bank for a bike you can't quite afford.
Clark: Only, I can't imagine there is anyone else.
Lois: You never know, Clark. Maybe when you finally crack open that piggy bank you'll find that all this time you haven't been saving for a bike...you've really been
saving for a Harley'

Clark, eventually learnt to fly.
And in his arms..Lois flew with him.
She saw him for what he was and who he was.

The world seemed better.
He belonged...Finally.

New days are hard... but essential.

I'd like to meet the God who wrote my story and I would like to tell him that I am a better writer. Let me take it from here.
